Tower 183 - crossing of StLSW - IGN

We do not have a photo or accurate information on the interlocking tower at this location.  If you have a historic photo showing the tower at this location or any information regarding this location, please contact us.

Adjacent to the Cotton Belt depot in Tyler, Texas is the crossing of the Cotton Belt main line and the Missouri Pacific (x-IGN) line from Troup, Texas. This still active crossing is recorded in the Railroad Commission of Texas records as Interlocking 183. There is no evidence adjacent to the crossing or the depot that this location was ever interlocked. It is currently an active gated crossing.
