www.txrrhistory.com - Interlocking Tower 107 - Dallas, Texas

Known locally at South Tower, this tower was added at the south end of the Union Station complex.  Authorized for operation by the Railroad Commission of Texas in October, 1916, the tower controlled access south of Union Station.  The tower is still standing, although now unused.  Building is now owned by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit system (DART).

The companion tower for Tower 107 is North Tower, Tower 106.  Both towers were built about the same time and completion of both towers paved the way for removal of Tower 57.
